I always said not for sale .
Specially with my x who wanted to be a swinger which I didn’t but I felt like he put me in invisible restraints and opressed me etc
I also had others acting as me against my will .
And dominating my bod n so against will n stole from me n set me up n ruined me .
My whisper always remained not for sale .
God knows that no matter what it appears to be that’s truth .
There are also things like loyalty and real friendship and honour etc that can’t be bought deep down .
Money can’t buy time. The wealthiest person in the world and a homeless person sleeping in a cardboard box both have 24 hours in a day.
If the homeless person is in a cardboard box in the winter with insufficient clothing it feels like there are many more than 24 hours in a day.
I speak from experience. You can have a nice right wedge in a few bank accounts - but if your not careful and open your gob - you can attract all sorts of scumbags and make bad decisions. You will swear blind to yourself - that you will be sensible, but i guarantee you will foul up at some point.
Actually having it made me miserable as sin - cos i didnt want the responsibility, and no amount of money in the world was gonna bring my family back.
Greed in material possessions is a terrible thing. For some people, it can kill them in 6 months if they got a drink / drug problem.
Be grateful for what you got. There is truth in the saying - money is the root of all evil.
Its ridiculous really, from a philosophical point of view, that people are willing to kill and deceive - all over a piece of printed paper, with a metal strip thru it.
Money can’t buy content of happiness for me.
I make meaning of happiness then it depends how strong I hold on to it. If nothing can break your meaning then that’s a happiness that I like to hold on to. If I keep money as happiness then I should hold on to it till the end.
I’ve had money. And I’ve not had money.
I was happier having money.
To me, money is just money at the end of the day. Does it make life easier? Of course! Do you need it to survive? Well, unless you want to figure out how to live off grid and grow your own food and do your own thing, then I would say no. But in all other instances, yes. But at the end of the day all it is is a green piece of paper with a number on it. Yes, you need to pay bills and such, but money is a very powerful tool for the corrupt. Look at how Earth is right now. Money corrupts.
In other words, I’d be fine with doing volunteer work for the rest of my life in all honesty.
I can buy all the cookies I need on SSDI.
Money is essential for survival.
It can’t buy health, but still with more money you can buy better food . Go to gym ect
