Both Dune movies are great. Even Jorodowsky could-have-been version looks great, but I never read the book once it becomes a film.

Verne you can download legally for free, but I guess sometimes we require a more ‘authentic’ paleoexperience.

Did you finish Laing’s little masterpiece?

They’re all downloaded, Amazon is just convenient to link to.

Yes, soon, because of all the things i have been through, change of medicine, etc. i have had troubles concentrating, but i should soon be finished.

The divided self, is a great book about SZ, Some chapters are a bit chatty, he is rephrasing the same arguments, but the way he is practicing psychiatry is very inspiring - especially if you take away some of the old school Freudian stuff.

I dont understand why he is regarded with such a suspiciousness. You cannnot blame him that he sought the reason to mental illnesses in your upbringing, most of his fellow psychiatrist did the same and blamed the parents for their offspring’s psychiatric disorders with the result that a lot of parents felt guilty about having a mental ill son or daughter. Sometimes the parents are to blame, but not always.

Reading a rock biography by Duff McKagan from GnR. He’s actually a decent writer, though I don’t think he goes deep enough into emotions or character development – things that are necessary, even for a bio. It just feels more like a narrative of this happened, then this, then this. I am hoping he gets more introspective as the book goes on.

Also started Woke Racism: How a New Religion Has Betrayed Black America, by John McWhorter. Excellent, so far. Very conversational in tone, makes for an easy read.

I am rereading Call Me By Your Name by Andre Aciman and reading Irrational Man by William Barrett.

Any good??? It’s in my bedroom. Looked pretty interesting. But maybe I’m not big on philosophy is what de-attracts me to it.

Me?

I’ve been watching movies. Saw don’t look up last night. I wanna watch gang related, bullet, the rest of queens gambit, Hamilton’s pharmacopeia and many more. I should make a list

Oh that’s a good one! She’s a great author.

Auto biography’s are even better.

Loved this one by RZA of the wu tang clan. Think he wrote a couple books. There was one in particular that really caught me

I really like learning about not so popular artists but talented. Like I read a book by Patti smith

Was freaking great. I’m sure you would like patti smith if you don’t like her yet….
