I’m 31-35% bodyfat. It could be a lot worse. I wish I was 10% bodyfat.

i need to ask at my gym i guess…

I’m slowly gaining weight so I just rounded up with my bodyfat %.

A trainer could easily tell you your bodyfat @anon90843118. There’s also the military way of doing it by measuring your throat and waist. You could probably do that by yourself if you have a tape measure.

I’ve never checked, so I can only guess. I can remember younger days when I was in far better shape. I’m afraid those days are gone for good.

How would you be able to measure it so accurately?

My scale says only 30%! Guess all the walking I do is helping. I do still look out of shape though. I guess the theory is all my fats on the outside???

Hi have no clue but I’m sure it’s about a gazillion. Sometimes not knowing is better.

2) Body Fat Calipers – Pick up a set of calipers for $5. Pull the fat away from your muscles, pinch them with the caliper, take the measurements, and look at a chart to figure out your body fat percentage. Some recommend using one test site, some multiple.

@labratmat

Calipers, lol ! i just had to tighten my belt by punching a tighter hole in it. I am happy with that.

I saw a program where a lady got into a pod with breathing apparatus to measure it, i wouldn’t trust a simple pair of calipers for an accurate result.

I’m used to just measuring the neck and waist in the military. The calipers are much more scientific than I’m used to.

Glad you are losing weight.

Here’s the easy way.

That calculator says my BMI is 33. Seems slightly accurate.

According to the bmi calculator my bmi is 22.66. I looked up a body fat percentage calculator that uses your waist, hip, forearm, and wrist measurements and it said I am 25% body fat. I want that number to be a lot lower.
