I’m reading a book about how scientists cannot disprove the Big Bang theory no matter how hard they try. And the Big Bang proves that the universe had a beginning and is not eternal.

I havent been reading much at all lately. But i do want to finish reading empire of the damned by jay kristoff. The first one empire of the vampire was bloody awesome.
Normally i read a lot. But i havent been able to get myself to start recently.

I used to suffer from intrusive thoughts. Then I just let them do their thing, I stopped giving them any attention and they went away. Sometimes an intrusive thought pops up but I just ignore them.
It’s the anxiety attached to the thought that fuels them.

That’s basically the argument that this book makes. Pushing back against thoughts ultimately reinforces them. I guess the key is to let them pass without trying to control them.

I’m listening to Sean Carroll’s MWT of QM audio lecture series. It’s 13 hours long. Got 2 hours done so far. I took a break.
I believe in the Big Bang I guess, but don’t know or believe it’s the first cause. I believe in God, I guess. (don’t tell my mom that lol).
Some people think God created the Big bang, and others believe in other things. I like/enjoy physics. I realize I don’t know much of anything, really.
I realize one can be smart, but poor and disabled.
I first heard about the big bang theory as a kid from my cousin lol.

This is a very complicated read in terms of use of language - i’m certain the concepts aren’t anywhere near as bad
