I’d like to read Tolstoy’s “Anna Karenina” again. I think there is more in it about the feminine gender than I realized. There is a quote in it - “We mustn’t forget that the subjection of women is so great and so old that we often refuse to comprehend the abyss that exists between them and us.” It went something like that. It’s on page 388 of the new translation.

ive been reading the gay science and its quite funny, something convoluted and verbose. i don’t subscribe to his comments on christianity but on most if not all of his other topics i agree i heard his doctor felt bad for him because he found nietzsches back problems were due to excessive masturbation lol

i am reading lawrence ferlinghettis a coney island of the mind. hilarious matter, its really got a way of provoking thought sequence and painting surrealistic images in my head, i cant get enough of it and it makes me feel encompassed by a virtual sense of freedom
