  1. Sesame and soy beef, cabbage with rice.
  2. Pesto broccoli, zucchini, and carrots.
  3. Pretzels, yogurt and banana.

I love vegetarian food so I’m really excited to try the Pesto Veggie.

Soup and white rice, interested?

What you need: Brown onion, carrot, tomato, potato, pork ribs.

Cook everything with water in pressure cooker for 30 minutes, release steam and add salt, then cook for another 30 minutes.

The soup is ready to serve now.

This doesn’t have much prep time aside from cutting the pork into strips. It’s very simple.
But it is a slow cooker recipe. I use boneless pork chops instead of pork steak.

I like rice bowls. You can put anything in them. Fried Tofu, broccoli, beans, avocado, sautéed mushrooms, any veggies really.

I make vegetable coconut curry.

2 16 oz bags of frozen vegetables of your choice
1 32 oz can of coconut milk
1 vegetable bullion cube
Curry powder
Coconut flakes
Ginger
Cayenne pepper

Combine coconut milk and bullion into a big pot, and bring it to a boil, then simmer. Add spices to taste, I do like 1/4 c curry powder, a handful of coconut flakes, 11 shakes of pepper, and 1 tsp ginger. When it tastes good, add vegetables and cook it on medium until they’re the desired temperature and cooked-ness. I like them on the crunchy side, but my friend prefers them mushy. Serve over rice. It takes like 20 mins to make it.

The pesto sauce I used for my veggies was already canned/prepared so it isn’t anything fancy and as for the sesame beef it was also really easy to prepare. Unfortunately, I’m no Chef Ramsey so I find my food to be a hit or miss. Today it was a miss, LOL! I’ll get a different brand of pesto sauce next time, I used a cheap one today.

All these recipes sound really tasty and I like the idea of using a slow-cooker. I should probably invest in one soon!

Thanks for the tips everyone

Nice thread! I just picked up a second hand slow cooker at the thrift shop. Have yet to try it.
