A punk tribe would be cool. I only knew a few of them who hungout with each other. One I was friends with from age 12 to 18 moved to the outskirts of Boston. He was into punk rock and screenprinting. Went to and dropped out of art school. I haven’t seen him or talked to him since we were 18 though. Kinda sad we lost touch as we were such good friends. He didn’t like my girlfriend I had then and we stopped hanging out because I was so absorbed in the relationship at the time.
I was the token sober one in my punk group. I had blue liberty spikes, wore colorful tights under ripped jeans, and lots of neon. My style was Acid Punk, but I was very much not into the drug scene to the point I had no idea at the time why it was called acid punk, because all my friends knew better than to offer drugs to me so I assumed they just didnct do them either.
My punks were really only drinkers though I did LSD with one of them once. He had a positive experience. Hanging out with them was a nice break from the pothead crowd. Spend a weekend with the punks was nice back then just to get away from weed.
