It went really well, I learned all the songs were playing at our gig in a few weeks. This song they wrote last week (I was sick with a cold and missed practice) and I wrote the simple guitar piece to it today. Was a lot of fun

Kinda reminds me of the bands interpol and iggy pop mixed with a little Danzig. Very cool. Makes me want to start playing the drums again.

Idk. I have been looking into electronic drum kits. I live in an apt though and acoustics are out of the question.

@TheSecondVariety even the best electronic kits suck… there are ways to practise in an apartment

It’s pretty good! 
I was thinking I could build a soundproof room in my kitchen. Even with the clicks on the electric set it’d annoy my neighbors. But I can use my dining room for a soundproof area. I wanted to build basically a room inside my room. A 7 by 6 foot box with a top and line it with the soundproofing foam. I looked into it and I could do it. Just not sure if I’ll do it or when.

Where I’m from, you are allowed to practise music in your apartment. Especially if you take measures to avoid as much noise as possible…

I had an acoustic set with pads on everything. It’s still kinda loud. I practiced one day for like ten minutes without pads and my neighbors called the cops on me. Here’s a pic of my old setup. I have since sold it. I took percussion in band so I can read music. I sold everything though including my drum books.
