Is it possible I could stop taking Abilify or Aristada and switch to Wellbutrin? I have never tried this or wellbutrin on its own. Wellbutrin with Abilify didn’t seem to do anything but make my ears ring and I’m due for Aristada next week. I dont want to take it because I dont want to gain another 30 pounds and I need energy to start working on the 14th of August. Also if I’m never having any symptoms its hard to know what the antipsychotics are even treating. I havent been manic or psychotic in a long time, but I have been delusional on Aristada. Im not sure what to think. My dad said he didn’t think Aristada was working, now that I started Phentermine he’s saying its the Phentermine. I think its the Aristada.
Wellbutrin is not an antipsychotic.

Wellbutrin isn’t effective in relieving psychosis
Wellbutrin made me psychotic. Naked in the back yard chasing hallucinations of bunny’s, thought I had to nuke the sun to save humanity soul.
Was not a good time.
Wellbutrin has been really good for me and my depression,
But as others have stated, it’s not an AP.
It won’t help with hallucinations, delusions, etc…
I’m currently not taking an AP and have a lot of positive symptoms.
The Wellbutrin alone does not help with that.
