So the other day before my psychology class I was eating pancakes and I had a weird thought pop into my head about the scene from shrek when he told the donkey that onions have layers and people do too. 2 1/2 hrs later about halfway into class she used this exact analogy while explaining ego super ego and ID she referenced the movie and right before she did I could tell that she was about to use it. 0.o I must be psychic or something

Is it Freud? I’m just looking for some Carl Jung materials (if I’m not wrong, he was a Freud’s student) and it grasped my attention.

Yeah that’s Freud that came up with that its very old stuff (psychoanalytic) now a days people tweaked his stuff a little bit and we call that psychodynamic
