A family friend is on them for diabetes
He has lost so much weight
Do you think people on weight gaining meds at risk of diabetes should be given this med ?
My opinion is any med with as serious side effects as APs for weight gain should be given to them
You see here all the time people struggling with this
I really do think it can have a detrimental effect on quality of life and confidence

On my weight loss journey, before my insurance would cover Mounjaro, i was lucky enough to have a doctor who gave me samples of Saxenda (liraglutide). It initially helped me. Then an oral glucose tolerance test said i had diabetes…THEN the insurance started paying for Mounjaro. But i would’ve never have lost weight if that doctor hadn’t started me on samples. I think all people on APs should have unfettered access to these meds to even, maybe, prevent the weight gain from ever starting.
