I need to understand one thing. Do all meds gradually increase your weight without stopping? Or does one med increase you the first time and stops?
I’m taking latuda and I feel like it slowly but constantly increase my weight.
They will be switching me to Abilify, I was wondering if it tends to be friendlier. My doctor said Abilify is well known.
Abilify can cause weight gain too, many people experience weight gain in excess of 20lbs. For some even 50lbs is the reality.

I gained 80 lbs on Latuda and Risperdal. I found I have to take something suppress my appetite and it isn’t an issue anymore.
Since all APs lower dopamine, weight gain is common. From personal experience, Latuda causes less weight gain than Abilify.
I put on about 40 to 50 pounds with Latuda but then it stopped. I haven’t gotten any heavier. I am not obese. I was really skinny.
I have never tried Abilify but with Latuda I was able to go back to school and then go to work. It really helped me.
When I just took Geodon I would get psychotic every afternoon before I took my second dose. Now that I take them both I am better in that regard.

Latuda has helped me more than other drugs. The only downside is the constant weight gain. It is one that have helped me a lot.
Zeldox was weight neutral for me. But had many other side effects.
More severe than latuda. Latuda gave me only weight gain.
Abilify was weight neutral for me.
Has any one been super tired I am on lexapro ambien ativan when needed just added ablify all meds are at lowest does suffering from bipolar/depression
