Granted it was a small one. But it shook me pretty good. I wonder where the epicenter was??? I’m shaking. I didn’t even have time to get to the doorway.
Oh no! I’m glad you are okay, but I’m sorry it upset you. It would me, too. Hang in there!
well nothing has shown up on the USGS website so I guess it’s nothing too big.
Thank you, I guess it’s a small one
That doesn’t mean it’s any less scary.
You know that’s the third earthquake I’ve felt since I moved here 7 months ago. Scary. But at least it’s releasing pressure with little ones instead of one big one.
True. Are you in CA? Hubby was stationed in CA for a while, and he arrived there during a huge earthquake so that the plane couldn’t land!
Yes I’m in Californai, right on a the San Andreas fault line.
My sister found the earthquake online, it was right under us and it was a 3.5 followed by a little 2.2 that we didn’t even feel.
Odds of dying in an earthquake: 1 in 20,000
Odds of being shot to death: 1 in 370
That’s terrifying
Good time go enjoy some fresh air. If you fell into a put on the earth then you were probably afraid to go downhill or reach the rock bottom.
I’m glad to hear that you’re okay @Leaf.
I once felt and earthquake when I lived in CA before.
Take care.
Glad it wasn’t any worse. I’ve never been in an earthquake. Or a tornado nor a hurricane. The most us Minnesotans deal with are funny talking people and winter weather.
It was 3.5 magnitude according to the USGS website.
It was a real quick jolt too, not like some of them that sort of roll
I’m glad ur ok @Leaf
That sounds scary
That must have been scary.
Two days ago there was a 7.7 magnitude earthquake centered around the Cayman Islands.
7.7 oh my, I can’t even imagine.
I think they had a tsunami (yeah, I looked up the spelling) warning.
