safe to say, I’m shook
No but seriously it was a little unnerving. It kept gaining intensity, at one point I had to hold onto the tv to keep it from toppling over.
Do they have earthquakes where you live?

I experienced an earthquake ones but I dont know if it was real, because I was very psychotic when it happened lol
That’s scary!
Glad you are ok @Pikasaur
Wow it’s on the news here in the States.
They are saying it was a powerful earthquake!
Only been in a small one when I was in LA years ago
We used to have them in California. I was near a big one once. Kinda gets your attention.
Yes, scary. Looks like you were in a big one. Glad you’re ok. Hope everyone else is too.
There was a tsunami associated with that earth quake. So glad you’re ok
Wow…glad your ok. We are in the middle of a techtonic plate so earthquakes are rare over here thank goodness.
there has only been one here my whole life, i didn’t even feel it, but the ladies at work said they felt it. it was very minor, we are on a fault line, but it’s mostly inactive, and when they do happen they are insignificant, you barely even feel them.
When I lived in Syria earthquakes were common. Syria is neighbor to Turkey. My bed was moving. We had to evacuate buildings and go sleep in the park.
What’s the situation there? Is there lots of damage where you are? Is everyone ok?
California is kind of known for them.
We have a miles-long fault line that runs near Central California. Earthquakes are happenng on it frequently but they are usually so small they are unnoticeable.
Scientists have been predicting for more than a decade that we are going to have a huge earthquake (think San Francisco earthquake) on the fault that will destroy cities and cause extensive damage.
Lol, there used to be a rumor in California that there was going to be a huge earthquake so big that most of California would slide into the ocean.
Many people believed this and scientists even gave an exact date.
In the sixties, the day of the supposed earthquake a bunch of hippies went to the fault with crowbars and other tools and tried to help the earthquake along by trying to pry California apart.
Back when I lived in South America we had a 9.0 earthquake this was in 1999-2000 (?). From the fragmented pieces of my memory I faintly remember it.
@Pikasaur is everything ok there where you are?
Please let us know.
Oh wow!
Thankfully you’re okay.
I experienced a light earthquake in California a long time ago.
It was pretty wild!
That’s a serious earthquake. I hope you’re ok.
It looks the epicenter was near the coast of Turkey.
I live in California too, @77nick77.
You get used to them after a while.
Yes, they don’t phase me. Actually if no one gets hurt, I think they feel kind of neat!
