We work with a rescue group that gets dogs out of shelters or bad homes and we foster, letting the dog live here with us until its new home is ready. It’s all voluntary.

To be honest I’m kind of worried.
Thinking about all the work ahead of me.
My father really wants us to get a dog.
I am finally agreeing with him but most of the responsibilities will lie with me.

I will be responsible for his or her training and exercise needs and I’ll be the one in charge of feeding her.

Yeah the walks will benefit both of us.
I live on a quiet street, lots of dog owners live around here.

I don’t see that as an inherently bad thing. Puppies require a lot of work and patience, but the net result is an awesome dog. Good to put energy into training your pup. I think this is something you should do, personally. Dogs are great at stress relief and improving mood. I once saw a puppy so cute I cried. No kidding. I’m a big softie when it comes to dogs. Keep us posted. I wish you the best (as I always do).

Good luck with the new dog wave. I have one myself. They are good at keeping you occupied when you are bored or lonely. Also good for exercise if you take them for walks.

That’s exciting news @Wave I’m very partial to black labs since my first dog was a black lab.
