So relieved

I found out that my Chocolate lab puppy was adopted by a nice family with another lab.
Her medical issues are also being addressed according to the animal shelter.
God bless her.
I wish her a happy and long life.

She loves other dogs too!
Glad that she has company now.

That’s awesome news! That must be a big weight lifted off your chest, @Wave .

That’s good to hear, glad to hear your dog is thriving. Dog’s can have separation anxiety too. When my mom came back from the hospital after being there for surgery, we couldn’t believe the reaction our dog had after not seeing her for a while.

My animal shelter at my locale refuses to tell former owners anything at all about the fate of their former pets. It’s their firm policy. @Wave

I had three cats that I had to give back to the Humane Society and I have no idea what ultimately happened to any of them.

I’m sorry @SkinnyMe
I’m sure your cats are well.

This is definitely true. My dog doesn’t even like it when she is left alone in a room. Has to go find another person to be around. She’s kind of a baby.

I’m glad your dog is in good hands Wave.

Chey has horrible separation anxiety. It’s kind of funny that she’ll ask to go outside and she’ll just stare down the driveway waiting for my dad or her mom to come home.

Oliver and Chey need to be around people always. When they say that pets aren’t a convenience but a commitment they aren’t kidding.

@Wave

Glad to hear that you received some good news.

Are you still thinking of getting an older dog at some point?

Thanks @ThePickinSkunk
Yes I’m considering getting an older shelter dog but not right now.
Maybe in the future sometime.
