Took me hours. So thats about 12000 meters, just under 40000 feet. Bit tired now. Got chafe too lol.
Anyone been a’walkin?
Well done !
I hope to start walking regularly too .
Yes, I trekked with friends yesterday. Don’t know exactly how much ground we covered but it took several hours (with breaks). It was a forest trail bordering some marshes. I’m a regular walker.
Nice one Andrey! Sounds nicer in a forest by far. I was just doing errands around town by foot all day haha.
Thanks! You can start any day! I am not working and have a lot of free time so why not in my case.
I walked a little bit today at the park. Its just so hot and humid out
I guess you got the recommended 10,000 steps in.
That’s impressive. Did you build up to it?
There’s no way I could walk that far!
As @everhopeful said hope you build up on kms and was not at one stretch.
Well done on it by the way !
Thats for sure! Haha
Kinda. I was jogging daily not too long ago but stopped for a couple weeks. Then after being sedentary for those two weeks or so i did that massive walk. I was anxious and felt weak when i started walking, not planning to do that much, but then when the anti-anxiety benefits hit me from walking strenuously and being outside again, i just wanted to keep going. Helped my mood and anxiety heaps by the end. But I’d rather go for runs instead normally. Too time consuming walking for hours.
Yeah true. Where are you? Its currently winter here in Australia so that helps me. I dont like exercising while its super hot out.
Well it was pretty much all at once. With a couple short stops here and there. Took me around 4 hours i think. Didnt really take note of the time though.
Oh and i always walk really fast. Im not much of a stroller haha.
very nice, i did 4.4 km walking on treadmill today, walking is good exercise i could do it for hours on end, when i try to run tho i get exhausted and end up doing less activity than if i walk
Well done, i was a very eager walker, but after my new med adjustment i only walk about an hour, but i will increase it when the side effects (fatigue) gets better.
I walk a few laps of the oval
I’ve been walking a lot lately too
Sorry my phone died but i live in usa
Thats awesome. Yeah running is hectic. When i first started getting into it a while ago it would bloody kill me ay haha. Had to push my body so damn hard just to run for a little bit.
I walk for an hour every Monday from 1pm until 2pm. I’ve been doing that for 7 years. It hasn’t helped me lose any weight though so I might stop doing it in September when I can change my treatment plan.
