hello, i’m new here. i’m schizoaffective and lately i’ve been waking up at around 6am and rarely being able to nap during the day to make up for the lost sleep. i’m already becoming more paranoid and hearing an oppressive voice in my head (i don’t hear voices too often).
does anyone else struggle with waking up too early? what did you do to help with it?
Cut out all caffeine such as tea and coffee, because that drug caffeine causes sleeplessness. Alcohol can also effect sleep patterns, so it is advisable to avoid that if you are having sleep problems.
i used to go to bed at around 10pm but i think i’ll bump it up to 8pm just so my symptoms don’t get any worse lol. i’ll remember that about caffeine, i usually only drink it in the mornings though
