I am taking vraylar rom the end of october.
My mind has never been so… clean. So calm. I don’t remember myself so “like me” for many years.
Maybe it’s the fact that I combine smallest dose of ablify (10 mg) with vraylar of biggest dose (6mg)
My pdoc had this idea that maybe after many years of vraylar I could stop medication forever.
Now I believe THERE IS possibility of that happening in a 3-5 years. I am so so so glad I feel better than ever. Almost no symptoms today, maybe even zero.
I’m on vraylar 1.5mg and olanzapine 20mg.
It took my delusions away but I still hear voices and feel strange sensations in my brain.
If I remember it correctly, your psychosis was drug induced?
The prognosis is good. You might get through this.
Mostly drug induced. It all started with weed (some strange sensations and delusions, mild hallucinations started appearing) as I was smoking it for many months. My stress back then (it was 2016) was also very very high, as I was stressing about future. And then I took enormous dose of meth, 10x higher than an average dose (I didn’t knew my brother gave me this enormous, probably lethal dose) and went for a full blown one year length psychosis. I believe it was both drug and stress induced psychosis. But the worst things happened after meth
Geodon and Seroquel have done the job for me. I’m grateful to have them.
I am glad you’re feeling well ![]()
Amazing, glad to hear this. Being clear and calm minded is great
Hoping Vraylar will do same for me, still waiting on results of my heart
I’m also on 6 mg of Vraylar, and it’s a nice drug. I take it in conjunction with 80 mg of Latuda, and both work pretty well for me.
Glad to hear you have a doctor that was willing to consider tapering you off medication completely. That’s great
I hope when vraylar will reach its full effect, you will also feel great!!
I am also happy because of it @FreeLunch
Maybe one day it will really happen
Paliperidone and latuda has worked wonders for me, out of the psych ward 6 months.
Glad you are doing better @anon8411913 ![]()
That’s great news!! @Natron
I am counting a sixth year without psychiatric wards
Aww thanks
