Vraylar and cognition

Anyone had improvement in cognition because of this medication?

I’m not sure about cognition but it seems to help with some negatives.

My head felt better on it, but I was only on it for a short time.

Do you still take it?

I was thinking of trying it. What are the doses and what is the recommended starting dose?

Yes, I still take it. I take 3 mg daily. I imagine you can look up the recommend starting dose on the internet. I dont know offhand without looking it up myself.

I see. I understand it comes in capsules of 1.5 mgs. Is that correct?

This is the only medication I haven’t tried. I have tried all. I take Abilify. It takes the voices away but I still have symptoms. But, whichever second medication I try, I tend to have terrible side effects.

And, do you think it is a strong medication?

Meaning strong like Latuda or is it weak like Saphris/Fanapt?

sounds right and familier, but I dont feel like looking it up, so…

it’s weaker then abilify.

Really? I thought it was stronger and better than Saphris/Fanapt etc? Weaker than Abilify, really?

Can it mix well with Abilify?

Saphris/Abilify combination didn’t work for me. Saprhis was a weak medication. Latuda/Abilify worked but Latuda had a lot of weight gain for me. Therefore, I am wondering if it is strong enough…

I don’t know ask your doctor

It’s a weaker med with weaker side efffects. I wouldn’t compare it to Abilify because Abilify is much different than other APs.

Where is Vraylar on that list?

Also, Asenapine stronger than Latuda!!! Asenapine is a reallhy weak medication and I have rarely come across people who claim it works for them. Latuda, on the other hand, is a pretty effective medication.

My pdoc once recommended me Sertindole. But, because of high weight gain side effect, I didn’t take it.

Ummmm. I’m on Saphris and it works well for me. You are making wild statements. I don’t claim it works for me. It actually does.

Well, I have read a lot of good reviews for Latuda but Saprhis rarely. This is the impression I have, that it is a weaker medication like Fanapt. But, it could always work for some people.
