A moment of mental clarity on Vraylar

So, I started taking Vraylar (was on the Abilify/Ziprasidone combination) and I have almost come off Ziprasidone.I am still taking abilify 20 mgs

Today, suddenly, after 13 years, I am feeling mental clarity like I used to before the illness.

I hope it lasts, sometimes it is a placebo, and the effect can fade. But, currently, my attention has improved, and I can notice the world around me, and feel mentally clear.

Vraylar is a good med, IMO. I’m on 6 mg

I am taking 4.5 mgs. I just hope the cognitive effects last.

I’m thinking of asking for vraylar. I’ve heard it was a really good one

I’ve been on Vraylar for awhile now, maybe 3-4 years. Various dosages.

It helps my mood and positive symptoms. Gives me some mental energy, if that makes sense lol

If you haven’t tried it, it is worth a shot. Also, Abilify is worth a shot.

This is because they don’t block the dopamine completely. The rest block it, even Amisulpride I tried did the same, and one can’t feel pleasure in life, plus cognition also recedes.

Yea… that’s what I’ve read. I’m excited that Soo many people have a good experience with it! I’m hoping to also try it out sometime soon!!

Vraylar didn’t do much for me, but my best friend is doing great on it. It reduced his “zoning out” episodes and improved his depression. Good med.

I was on Vraylar for quite a while and really did well on it. Now I’m gonna ask my Pdoc if I can go back to Vraylar after coming off Loxapine. So I’d be on Vraylar and Geodon

That’s great news. I used to love Vraylar. I was on 6 mg and switched to 15 mg of lybalvi and I am unsure of myself. I also switched from Cymbalta to Trintellix. I sleep way too much now, but feel more relaxed and calm. I feel a little dumber now. I’m not so sure about it anymore.

I just asked my p-doc to switch me to vraylar. I’m ready for a new med at this point…
