Voices? only talking?

Is it necessary that voices are speech? Is it possible they be car horns? The national anthem? And other unusual stuff?

Yes, those are possible, but less common. I used to hear music that wasn’t there.

Mine… little bells ringing, I can also hear music in the rumble of machinery often. Even in the hum of my ceiling fan. My worst one during what I called my psychosis from hell was the phone ringing. I had such an urgency to answer it like all my questions would be answered. It was also so loud like right next to my ears. But of course wasn’t a phone near me.

Haha same. Music. It’s on all the time, but with a fan or a/c gets LOUD and VIVID

Yeah I used to hear bells, doorbells and music. I’ve got an earworm today, much different than a voice. Bon Jovi’s Living on a Prayer. Ugh

My head is a radio on repeat at times

I’ve had a few little sounds hear and there. What sounds like trains in the distance at night or the sound of my cell phone going off. It would get really annoying if it were anymore chaotic. Thankfully my hallucinations have boundaries just the same voice/ personalities in my head. They come in on about three channels. Two men and one female and the male voices all sound practically the same.

mostly voices, but i hear buzzing and clicking and ticking sometimes. i used to hear those things far more frequently. sometimes really loudly and …almost “urgently”, if that makes sense. it’s very difficult for me to believe that those are “hallucinations” in my case. it’s easier to sorta believe the voices are. but they come from my body so that’s why i’m constantly told they’re not “real” or whatever. they do correspond to my delusions so i can kinda see why professional people have the thoughts they do about them.
