Do you hear music, bells, whistles, sirens?
Wind chimes.
It’s not unpleasant, I don’t mind it, just a small glitch i take notice of and keep in mind when I’m judging my symptoms and insight.
Reality check I use. Is making sure the wind isn’t blowing.
If I’m outside and it’s still, I can comprehend them, if I’m inside it’s fairly obvious.
Yes, I heard music, barks of a dog and laughters when I had a relapse around 10 years ago.
Taps, scratches, booms, people walking, doors opening/closing, breathing.
All sorts of stuff, very distracting.
Ooph, talking about it has me remembering.
I don’t know if I would call it a voice. But from 12 to 15, while prodromal for the first time, I would hear some kind of canine pack tearing and ripping at some kind of meat and bone. The growls and the snapping of joints.
I remember crying for days, scared to come out of my room, couldn’t handle school. It would come in waves.
After my first break at 15, I rarely got the same sounds, they transformed into mostly voices.
I hear electrical pops, which are signals to me to adjust my behaviour. On the fence if it’s a symptom of my mental health or something else (part of what I’m going through).
Doors being slammed… I used to hear music… frequency…
Yes, and then some. A lot of crashing. I often think people are walking on the roof. I hear voices in sounds, especially fans or any kind of hum (functional hallucinations). My ears are constantly ringing, usually three different tones at once.
A lot of flies. Flies play a part in a lot of hallucinations I have.
I hear animals moaning a lot, like they’re in pain, this one keeps happening more and more over the past week. Last night it was coming from my door, but no dogs were outside it, and my dogs were right beside me.
Probably more I’m not currently thinking of.
I hear my phone ringing, usually when I’m in the shower. It stresses me out.
I hear sirens right behind me, while driving. I get confused because no cars are getting over, so it must be in my head! I also hear cars honking at me, which stresses me out. It makes me feel like I’m doing something wrong / driving badly. But the honking sounds more faint than real honking, so I can usually tell if someone is really honking at me or not. Still stresses me out, though.
Sometimes, when I’m home alone, I hear footsteps upstairs (while I’m downstairs). Really freaky.
I often wake up in the morning because of the doorbell, but there’s never someone there.
I hear voices in sounds too … when I vacuum I have to listen to loud music with my headphones…
I hear music a lot… other than that I can hear screams sometimes too but like idk if it’s words @Leaf
Can’t wait to see what I’ll hear in a mri . Ehhg
I wouldn’t mind brain scans. I think it might help me believe it’s all in my head, whatever they find
Well yeah they’re checking for legions and tumors😔 a lot of non sz related things happen to me so they think it might be well bad things @fractaled
Damn. I sometimes wonder if there are similar things wrong with my brain, for reasons I’d rather not explain here.
I understand that. If you need to talk about it but just not in a post you can msg me. Remember you the mvp @fractaled
Not trying to pry. I just know it helps to talk things out
I haven’t talked to anyone about it, but you’re probably right.
