Ive read pc users can maximize the refresh rate
Yes. Gaming monitors have been 144hz for a while. I know there are 240hz monitors out there too, but they are a lot more pricey.
PS5 and the new Xbox have 120hz which is good for console gamers as they had only 60hz before, as far as I know.
Where my fellow Tarnished at?
I’m halfway through the game kicking ass with my greatsword!
I’m planning to get it eventually. I played DS1, DS3, and Bloodborne. I have to be in the mood to play those games otherwise I just get frustrated.
yes i played runescape as well.
it was fun.
Elden Ring is flexible because if you can’t beat a boss you can just farm exp until you’re higher level than you should be and the fight will be much easier.
I find it a lot easier than Demon’s Souls, which I loathe for its lack of checkpoints
I need to give it another go. Looks great but I have replaced my mouse since I was playing it. I’m not sure mouse/keyboard is the go as I was having problems as in compared to a controller but better hardware will probably make a big difference.
When I was on abilify I destroyed my thousand dollar gaming laptop. Then I replaced it, they put me on Haldol and I got suicidal and destroyed my laptop/cellphone.
Fml lol
When I was in olanzapine I gamed a lot though. Mainly wow classic and a little runescape or grand theft auto
I’m back at it playing mass effect Andromeda tonight.
I destroyed my awesome blue Silverado with 60,000 miles on it, my macbook, and a modified PS4 with 2TB hard drive when I was delusional.
I’m glad I no longer destroy stuff but the truck was irreplaceable, I’ve been without a vehicle for the last seven years thanks to that crash. I had that truck from 24 to 30 and would have kept it at least another ten years.
Gave my twin brother my steam account with about 90 games on . For his step-son. Bless him, had a new computer for xmas and had nothing to play.
Ive kept my epic account for the games i do play. Ive got a second steam account with the vr games for the quest. Dont ask why i got 2 lol - it just happened lol.
Im not the one who goes on a rampage while psychotic, but I have intentionally lost my phone and an expensive watch while psychotic. I usually buy stupid stuff while psychotic
After like 9 months of waiting for it go on sale I gave up waiting for the sale and bought Elden Ring for full price - just in time for it to finally go on sale (d’oh!!). I played a few hours now. It hasnt blown my mind as much as I thought it would but its very engaging and fun.
Had to buy a new controller. The Right Bumper on mine is unreliable. I tried taking it apart and adding some tape to it (as some YouTube guides suggests this can fix it) but it didn’t make much difference at all. I think I wore the sensor out from playing Devil May Cry so much (where you are often holding RB).
Went a bit nuts on the new controller and went for a really expensive expensive custom option from the Xbox website - a purple elite with some green highlights. Got my gamer alias engraved on it too! This controller has paddle buttons that you can set, so in Elden Ring I will be able to hold down the run button without using my thumb. Looking forward to it arriving.
They optimized osrs. In some sort of way. It was a latest news.
I hope you enjoy Elden Ring. It’s not fair to compare it to Skyrim due to the lack of village npcs and quests, but I like to think of it as Mature rated Breath of the Wild on steroids. There are very few actual quests, most everything is found by exploring… but the world is just so huge and there’s so much to find. I’m 80 hours in and I think I’ve uncovered about half of the world map.
That is a nice gift matey. We all seem to gain a lot of games on platforms we don’t really play anymore but younger peeps may find some joy. Kudos to you for doing that!
Cheers. I just do a bit too much “retail therapy” on the plastic on games on offer late at night lol. Half of them i havent even installed.
The little man was made up - so maybe it will balance my karma lol
Gonna try out Civilization: Beyond Earth. Bought it years ago but never played it. I heard it was bad but the expansion made it better.
Game is pretty good, have to learn to play it though.
i just checked out cyberpunk 2077 from the local library for xbox. it was good, but i am not a big fan of RPG’s to be honest. I still enjoyed it tho. im at the beginning doing hacking tutorials. i’ve been wanting to play it but it was too expensive, then i learned the library has games for check out lol. im like 25th in line to get cod modern warfare 2 haha bit of a long wait but worth it since ill save $70.
