Upped my Clozapine dosage to 200mg

Up to 300mg now.

Side effects have kicked in.

Lightheadeness during the day, hard to walk without feeling dizzy. Appetites the same, dry mouth and constant drooling.

hope it works out, clozapine is one of the only atypicals ive never been on, my new doc let me pick between invega and clozapine, now im on invega and hopefully i will never have to switch meds again

I talked with my pdoc and I’m getting off Clozapine.

I went up to 400mg and developed a nasty cough. I would drool the entire day, my speech was slurred, I was completly sedated and didn’t do anything.

Wasn’t meant for me.

What med are u thinking of going on instead

İ had been used 200 mg clozapine for 3 years. after three years they lowered to 150mg. One month later i had a relapse. So be careful for dosage. İf its working don t try to lower dosage.

@anon68444330 it wasn’t working for me. Plus too many side effects

@anon90843118 I told my pdoc that I would take a rest from APs. He agreed with my decision and told me that if I have an episode to contact him asap .

I dont hear voices, I just get paranoid thoughts and my pdoc knows this.
