I just want to inform about my situation with med change. For two years I’ve been struggling with my voices on Clozaril and it lasted during day all the time.I’ve read my old post which lasted for two months when I asked mods to close thread.
Last post was on march 27th this year.On april 4th I had bacterial infection which made some blood changes which gave me symptoms of mild neutropenia from Clozaril 250 mg.Next day I went to another hospital (as outpatient),and they told me that I need med change.Fortunately they put me next morning on 4 mg’s of Risperdal and disconuited my Clozaril immediately.
After few day days I’ve noticed no voices. It isn’t miracle drug, but in month I didn’t hear voices. Also it brought some changes in my life,I begun to clean the house and focused more on positive things.I just updated this because of people who are taking Clozaril and hear voices like me,that med change can make a big change.Thank you all for support.
That’s very interesting. Thanks @anon70049667
Sorry @Moonbeam ,I just wanted to discontinue long thread…
it saved me too.
Are you on risperidone @Daze, If so how much? How long Before you stopped hearing voices? How long have they been gone?
I say this all the time, but just a refresher, I got on Risperdal to stop forced speech
uncontrollable out my mouth, sub vocal maybe. It cured it instantly. I stayed on it, then thought I was so well, and didn’t need it
2 months later, voices. Went back on it, got near immediate relief again. Had to come off of it due to leaking breasts, now on Invega, for years.
I’m hearing voices still. I’m on haldol shot and pills nothing seems to be working. Ill try invega next and hopefully the voices go away. The voices seem to only happen when I go to work. So might be quitting my job soon.
I’ve been on Risperdal which is similar to Invega three times for six months, even shots. It always stopped my voices.
Latuda stopped my voices
