I am having alot of serious physical health issues. Long story short I have uncontrolled arthritis that is effecting my nerves, muscles and organs. My doctor is switching to a more aggressive medication to improve the arthritis. They told me that even if they control it, I may not improve and will always have to deal with it. All my joints are hurting and I can’t walk very far. Anyway, at least they have a diagnosis.
My 74 year old dad fell of a ladder and punctured one of his lungs. He has been in the hospital for two weeks. He is moving to a nursing facility until he can go home. He will be there for at least two weeks. At first he was uncooperative but now he is doing everything the doctors want him to do and now he is getting better. I get to see him today for the first time because I have been sick.
All this stress is really getting to me. I am having panic attacks, and alot of hallucinations. The doctor says it will get better once the stress goes away. I just got to deal.
Anyway, that’s my life. Thank you for reading this.
I’m sorry you’re having such a difficult time @anon78876561. Chronic physical pain can be very difficult to manage. I’m glad you’re working with your medical team to come up with ways to better manage the physical symptoms.
Are you going to a specialist for arthritis? Could you also consult a pain management specialist?
I’m glad to hear your father is recovering from his fall off the ladder. Tell him that he really should not be climbing ladders at his age!
