Did anyone here think that they were ever Satan?
Like the evil force is in them, as well as God at the same time?
In this unusual belief, I felt like God is everywhere in all of us, the animals, the air in the ocean in the trees and stuff like that.
But when I started to get into that stuff, I would get psychotic…yikes!!!

Yep. I had many mystical experiences but I don’t know if it’s psychosis or not

Everybody has a good and a bad side, don’t worry too hard about it, just try to keep your mind positive. Even if you get intrusive thoughts, keep trying.

Psychosis is when someone sees or hears things that aren’t there, and acts abnormally based on that.

Yes I am constantly experiencing this every day and it is only increasing. They told me they are waiting for “the call” and I they threaten me with mechanical/technology that I hear in my head/ear/internal areas of my body. I am so scared every day which has made my life something that I can only barely hold to.
Watchers, I’m so sorry you are going through this. If you could find a medicine that works for you it would all go away. I used to experience psychosis when I wasn’t on meds and it scared me so bad. I always take my medicine so it doesn’t happen again. I have beliefs but I don’t want to scare you more. This illness, schizophrenia, is a horrible one. It has ruined my life more than once and it scares me Soo much. Sending hugs and prayers your way…

Thank you so so incredibly much Gramm. Your kind words truly help me more than you know. I am on 40mg of Geodon (my 3rd time on a medication, previous two had horrible symptoms). The medication eases a tinge of how I can cope with what I am experiencing, but all of the voices, tactile/auditory/visual hallucinations, as well as dreams continue to increase. I am told I am cursed and will have bad luck and am given signs throughout the day also. Sorry for the rant, it is just good to know someone on here reached out to me. Truly, thank you.

When I was mostly psychotic, I posted some crazy stuff on facebook. The only way to not do that is to get medicated and enter remission.

Religious ideology and dogma upholds the idea of a good and evil black and white complex. Although there is much more grey area. Satan or the devil was simply a fallen angel in terms of theology. There are such things as necessary evils or positive evils such as death. But ithe term does not have the same dogmatic certianty as the church uses. Good or evil is what you make use of in terms of language. Imo, people are more dangerous then any good or evil energy in the world. It comes down to is it a useful concept. Does it serve you?
