Yes, unresolved pain or issues, especially those related to trauma, abuse, or significant life stressors, can contribute to the development of mental health issues over time. When emotional pain or traumatic experiences are not addressed, they can manifest in various mental health conditions.

Life is 99% struggle when you are on the wrong path, even more so when an extended period of time.

But, I’d like to believe, that if you learn from those mistakes you become unbreakable because you know what real pain is.

Just saying, time can be a real healer. You can never take the small blessings for granted or you can never see the bigger ones.

I’ve done so much in life and still struggle as hard as I did if not more than before.
You cannot control what happens, especially mental illness. Only how you handle it.

But no, schizophrenia is not a manifestation of unresolved issues. But yes more can stem if you handle it poorly.

I had a very trivial issue that no one bothered for 38 years and still dont and I was able to resolve and symptoms are not touching me now touch wood… Hope it stays same from the time I was able to solve… But I cannot win back the relationships that got lost… but can try to enjoy life with what I am having now… and not be greedy and complete my duty and say goodbye to the world with no regrets…

Maybe you could read up on it. My best guess is that it depends. I have issues from when I was growing up, but I also made bad decisions and engaged in foolish behavior that damaged my life. You’d probably need to dig deep to get a satisfactory answer.

I am content now. I am not trying anything that is beyond my reach.
