When my mental illness hit me I wasn’t stressed out or have any trauma going on. The delusions and hallucinations just came out of nowhere. My dad was schizophrenic. Good things.

I was numb until I broke free into a psychosis that my doctor would listen to. He was a jerk. I was transferred to a state hospital after refusing shock treatment. There, I met a helpful doctor.

Ya, mine is all trauma too – real or ‘imagined’. Sort of like reliving the pain and trauma every day and never accepting it or overcoming it and then denied affirmation and acceptance and have fear and shame in talking about it and discussing it and getting help.
