I just watched this show. The patients were violent and schizophrenic. It’s scary to see that and know that because of my diagnosis I’m considered to be the same as them even though I’m not at all violent. I also could some day be locked up and kept away like that. It’s really scary.
Why would you be locked away like that? You said you’re not violent

I just mean if politics go a certain way, I could be locked up just because of the diagnosis. It scares me.

I watched it but those are worse cases than most of us here if not all. I am violent only when unmedicated and when my meds don’t work, I am lucky that my meds work. Its in french so I understand all without subtitles.

Are you ever afraid to take your medicine due to paranoia?
That that was at the beginning of sz, then when I nearly destroyed my life permanently I lost that fear of taking meds. My family helped me too.
