UK folks - how much a week do you spend on food?

I am trying to stick to £50 a week but it is getting a bit boring

With trying to eat a little healthier mine has shot up from around £ 50 a week to just over £70. Unless you like lentils and pulses etc(I’m not very keen on them) the supermarkets don’t make it easy budget wise to eat healthily.

Yeah that’s what I have found too. Fruit and veg is expensive

If they want people to eat more healthily the supermarkets should be persuaded to take a more proactive approach in helping people to do so.

I have no clue. I dont do budgetting. I should, i know.

My guess is i spend 75 euros a week the first 3 weeks (even more when i eat out) and then 15 euros the last week cause im broke.

I spend under £50 a week.

I do get the occasional take away though

in my local cafe i’ve been buying egg mayo sandwiches in the morning at £1.60 and if i go to my clubhouse i have lunch for about £2 then dinner could be between £2-£3 or more if i get takeaway food. idk what the average is though, its hard to calculate sometimes.
