Ugh...constipated

I’m experiencing crazy constipation on the clozapine that I take. It’s driving me crazy, that I need to use magnesium citrate once a week in order to go poop. I’ve tried adding fiber, milk of magnesia, and colace. I literally have to set aside an entire afternoon and evening to be near the bathroom after taking the mag citrate. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to become more regular? I’m tired of not pooping naturally…

The type of fiber matters. Usually cheap stuff is Phylum Husk. I try to get a mix of GOS, FOS, and HMO. Love this stuff: https://www.amazon.com/Layer-Origin-PureHMO-Tri-Prebiotic-Powder/dp/B09JWV6CHC

Also try Tributyrin https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075NTPXY2

In order for anything to happen, you have to have the bacteria to make it happen. Here is the probiotic I suggest: https://www.amazon.com/Global-Healing-Center-Floratrex-Supplement/dp/B07WS2L1JZ

TMI, I go every day between 5:30am and 6:30am. It should take a couple of weeks to see the difference.

I use Bisacodyl (Dulcolax). Keeps me regular, I take it about 5 or 6 times a week. If you are curious about it then you can read up on it. There are certain dangers to taking it but your doctor could go over those with you.
