I love The Doctor. I went through a bad stretch with X-Files – mainly because it was The Truth to me (or a variant of). Fortunately now I can appreciate it and laugh at it. I love some of the older Dr. Who as well, particularly the Tom Baker episodes featuring K-9. Retro!

I don’t ever think I’ve sat through a whole episode of dw. It’s hard for me to watch television it’s all so fake and misleading. From what I gather doctor who is a pretty popular show.
love k9! i saw the red carpet event before the new dr who series started. was awesome what do you think of capaldi? i think he defently looks the part. and im starting to like him . the episodes are getting better as they go along in my opinion

i have a miniature dalek in my kitchen lol, i press it sometimes and it says ‘exterminate the doctor’ hahah luckily its not a real one

Neither do I its a bunch of shallow garbage for people to numb and escape with. Movies however are a different story.
I do not watch tv or movies. I mostly read.
I guess it depends on what you are watching. My current affectation, From Dusk 'til Dawn (season one), is hardly highbrow entertainment. Then again, neither was The Avengers, the movie. Vera, based on the Vera Stanhope detective novels, is definitely artful and intellectually engaging.
I use television and movies to help motivate me on the exercise bike and treadmill. I hate exercise, but I hate it less when I am distracted.

i find tv and movies take me away from the ‘real world’
Ok perhaps I was a bit to harsh. It is just rare the I find media which interests me.
cool, i love doctor who, torchwood, anything sci-fi…you wouldn’t think so !?!
down my way, well about 3 hours away, there is a remote farm/property which has a dalek actual life size outside the front drive way gate…so cool.
