Good evening. This is my first post here. I’ve had a few major psychotic breaks since 2011. I’ve never really been a huge TV watcher but after a major break I can not not watch any type of television at all. For awhile I believed there were commercials and shows about me and other delusions, those have mostly subsided now. However, I now stay with my folks and they are glued to the thing and the glimpses I do see all seem like a commercial, selling something. Whether it be any type of current programming. Has anyone else noticed this or is it in itself an extreme form of anti-consumerism. Or just a flat out delusion? I don’t feel I’m missing out on anything because I read alot and love music but this is really bothering me and need some input. Thanks.
I don’t own a T.V. at all and I can only take it in very small doses.
When I visit others…
It just wears me down… the constant chatter. The Loud Loud commercials and the soft soft shows… and then the content…
There has to be fights… anger… hate… stabbing… blood… and a laugh track.
I can’t take it… it’s too much flash… flash… flash… So glad I don’t have one in my place… will watch movies on my computer… or will down load a specific show… usually channel 9 on-line. I feel safe with travel shows and stuff like that.
Your not the only one who can’t take T.V.

I dont watch current tv programming it creeps me out
I had a problem with TV in the past, I got voices of international politicians which was very annoying, I do not really watch TV at all although I have it.
Exactly! We are being sold sex, war, drugs…I don’t want to sound conspiratorial but it is really horrible…documentaries and oldschool stuff I watch on occasion but thats about it.
