Trying modafinil

Just started 100mg of modafinil today, to try for excessive sleepiness/fatigue and negative symptoms.

both my regular psychiatrist and rtms psychiatrist felt it was good for me to try out.

my depression is seemingly gone for now from the rtms treatment i did. so thats really good. but i still have pretty heavy sleepiness/fatigue. and my motivation is still not very good.

also gonna work on cbt for motivation and just getting a better structure in my life.

cheers,

Da Level of levels.

Do you have a Job man? Just curios

How expensive is that med for you my pdoc almost prescribed it once but says it’s expensive on my insurance. He gave me a free sample. I had a bad reaction. This was when I wasn’t doing well and no type of stimulant could help me at all. I took it two days Wasn’t too bad but I stopped. My pdoc seems to like it. Good luck!!!

I used to, I had my own small business since 2008 (pre illness) but i sold it in 2018. it kept me alive. now ive been having much difficulty getting back to school. so thats why ive been trying new meds/treatments to get back on track. I am improving and getting there slowly.

its cheap here for me. its 21 dollars canadian for 30 tabs of 100mg i dont have extended health or anything so thats just my cost at the pharmacy. its generic modafinil

today i feel fine from it, feels like more focus? ill keep a log of how its going.

100mg is a lower dose , maybe you tried 200?

Maybe consider the phases of the moon in your logbook. Tonight is full moon here and it’s almost 5 am. I think i go to bed even I don’t feel tired.

I think I tried 100 or 200 I’m not sure. Coffee was too much for me back then. Most things made me psychotic except abilify and klonopin was keeping me a little bit stable when I tried it.
