Recently started following a few people on TikTok who have schizophrenia. Now the algorithm is showing me conspiracy theory content as well as paranormal and fringe religious type stuff. Just a warning to anyone who uses TikTok.

Tried TikTok once, I think it was two years ago. Felt dumber after a day of watching meaningless videos, so I deleted the app. If that’s what excites today’s youngsters, the future of humanity doesn’t look bright.
I stick to Instagram though, I’m following a few serious pages who post about math, science, history, classical art, jewelry etc.

Of course, neural networks study your interests and offer you content that may interest you in the future. Tick Tok, by the way, is an excellent platform for self-education.
