Those who wrote down their food daily lost twice as much weight as those who didn't write down their food at all

The article also says to write down what you will eat in the future and stick to that. Seems tough to do that.

Actually when you write what you eat you earning auto control by time and instinctly eating much less. But unfortunately i quit this habit long time ago.:confused:

It has really helped me a lot. Then I can see if I am eating too much or too little.

I’ve been tracking what I eat, and how much, for years and years. And I’ve been controlling my weight, for the most part, all of this time. I never go above a certain number on the scale. I keep tight control. Writing down what you eat every day really works. I recommend MyFitnessPal.com

I think health is important however being that eating is one of my only life’s joys I really don’t watch what I eat. To each his own though.

Planning my diet like this in addition to calorie counting is what started my anorexia in my teens. Nowadays I just eat only when I feel hungry and it seems to be working well.

yesterday, hummus and crackers and half a bowl of tomato soup
