This years COLA for SSDI recipients

Going up 1.6%. That means about $20.00 a month for me.

Same. Definitely not enough to keep up with rent increases. :-1:

Income goes up; food stamps and rental subsidies go down.

I’m getting a $12.00 increase. And Medicare went up like 23 bucks it seems. So that makes me with no COLA technically right? Hoping the state’s vote on hubby’s 3 dollar an hour raise goes thru to start Jan 23. Else we’re still living on bare minimum, don’t qualify for SNAP or anything cause they consider hubby can get overtime based on what his work fills out on the work form. Even though he doesn’t cause of his FMLA for me, as he takes me and kids to appts, etc.

Mine is going up $21.32 a month. That is all. That definitely doesn’t keep up with inflation. But, it’s better than nothing. We’ve had that enough times.

it’s a $20 dollar raise for me…bummer, I didn’t think about food stamps…

I think it is a work requirement for people to receive food stamps. As you are disabled and cannot work, I don’t think you will get a decrease in FS benefits @jukebox

$20 bucks for me. Woo Hoo! Party On!
