Thinking that my neighbors talk all the time of my life

Hello, does anyone else have the paranoia of thinking that people are constantly talking about you? My neighbors tend to constantly talk about other people’s lives, since 2017 I’ve had the paranoia of thinking that they always talk about me, like: I said something and thought that the neighbor heard everything I said, I also have the impression that I’m being held accountable by these unknown people to work, because I hear voices saying “This boy doesn’t do anything” also “This boy is a bum” then every day I feel bad because I know it’s my life and others have nothing to do with it. But it’s still stressful every day.

The worst thing is that the medicine doesn’t take away this paranoia at all.

I get those thoughts a lot.

I do too. Not so much recently. But often.

I don’t get the delusion that people are talking about me, but I’m convinced everyone laughs at me. I rarely leave the house because I melt down if people laugh around me in public places. You can’t talk me out of my insistence that they’re laughing at me and they hate me.

You’re right about meds. Even if I’m otherwise having a stable day, public laughing in my presence will set me off every time.

I always think there’s Navy SEALs recording me, following me, and talking about everything I do in case I do something wrong so they can kidnap me and torture me for information.

I also have this feeling, I started having it when the neighbors near my house started making jokes about me every time I went out into the street.

The neighbors on my street are people who love to pick on people they don’t like, that’s the Brazilian culture.

It seems like there are more than a few people on this site who struggle with thoughts about their neighbors, so you’re in good company.

When you hear them talking in a way contradictory to your way of using sentences, isn’t that a sign that those words don’t belong to you at all?!!

I didn’t understand the question, I wrote the voices that I hear, I don’t know if that’s what you meant, in this case when I refer to “doing nothing” or “tramp” it really is a voice that I hear.

I asked out of curiosity, I don’t know if many schizophrenics think that way.

Do you mean you hear them as you hear other people and not like thoughts?

In my case, I think that these voices are from the neighbors who are talking about me.

Let them talk, if they don’t have an own life.

If they don’t rob your watch or hurt you it’s ok i think.

After i send a message to my neighbours i “felt” that the reveiving phone was smashed on the ground.

It doesn’t calm down my “paranoia” when i heard that the phone was broken.

So, shut your head in that case @shield_mixer , i mean that not in a bad way.

Yes, it’s in my head

but sometimes I hear them talking about me, not all the time but from time to time.
