The sedation is killing me. Still plan on staying on the depixol depot.
Just have no quality of life at the moment - spending 20 hours a day in bed.

Me too, and then my teeth hurt due to clenching
I feel your pain man, was on high dose and could barely function, no wonder i didnt have symptoms, i was basically a zombie with less motor function!!
I would gladly take the manageable voices and slight hallucinations on low doses of any meds, as long as controlled and not delusional, to not be overly sedated and have at least some brain function and quality of life. I would ask for the switch to something else if you really are spending 20 hrs in bed from sedation, which i totally believe, i would regularly sleep thru entire weekends at a time on it. Whats your dose @Jimbob if you dont mind me asking?
I mean i spend prob 16-18 hrs in bed now (lol) and thats after being put back on quetiapine on a very low dose as a secondary ap to invega max dose. This one is tough decision for me to stay on it but im giving it a few more weeks/months. Most of my sleep is prob depression and boredom enduced but its hard to judge with all going on at once, so most likely my situation is not all effects of meds.
Let me know what you end up deciding to do and how its going. Good luck!!
I did that on Haldol. I’ve taken quetiapine a long time, and it doesn’t seem to affect me in any way at all. Different strokes for different folks.
300mg in morning. 300mg at night
I have 300 mg in the evening. I sleep 8 hours on that. Dn if I’d manage to take it in the morning too. I’d propably sleep all day.
I was on quite a bit higher dose, but i cant remember if i split it between morning and night. I think i took it all at night. Or mostly at night like 3/4 of my dose at night then 1/4 in the morning. Ill have to ask my wife, shes in charge of my meds. It was a little while ago so its hard to recall as my memory sucks lately.
I do know i couldnt take the sedation and stopped the meds and stopped seeing doc for a bit which was bad bad news. Dont let it get to that point. It wont hurt asking for a different med. Ive had great experiences with invega, after i adjusted to it i had little sedation at all from it, it kind of pepped me up a little even, which was so much better than the zombification syndrome i got from the quetiapine.
Thanks for the advice @Reggie - will speak to my nurse (she talks to my doc every Thursday).
I did that, lowered my quetiapine and I relapsed. It was nt worth it.I d stay on it
okay i asked a switch from seroquel to Saphris 5 in the evening and my pdoc said it’s not proven it has more values
people are just playing with my feelings, and i’m stuck with some sort of disease full of negative emotions : (
can anyone actually help?
I take all my seroquel at bedtime and I’m ok during the day.
