I currwntlt take 10mg of aripiprazole (abilify) and im thinking of reducing it slightly to 5mg to see if it does anything for my low mood, emotional bluntedness and most importantly restlessness
You realise that it no longer functions as an antipsychotic at 5mg?
In my experience Aripiprazole is an overrated drug with some horrible side effects. Get that low dose or switch to something else, like Quitiapine maybe

5mg worked for me for a number of years. Only reason I had to go on 10 was because I thought I was experiencing moods, not psychosis. I’m also looking to reduce mine when I see the doc next … Everyone tolerates meds differently so you can ask.

Yeah, i complained to my doc that i still wasnt feeling great in terms of lack of joy and emotional blunting and he just said that he never heard of that happen on aripiprazole so it must be the illness..
But I feel that the amount aripiprazole is contributing to how I feel all the time
