But they’re not. I went back on original zyprexa after a long period of generics and it works better for me. I feel better mentally and physically.
I’m happy for you.
In my case, unfortunately, no antipsychotic is tolerable. They all cause me apathy and indefinite weight gain. In fact I am currently at 205 pounds.
But I don’t have schizophrenia. Just a mild psychosis. It must be because of that.
I had apathy on higher doses of zyprexa before 10-20mg. Now I’m taking 7.5mg and it’s better. But sure if I compare myself now and pre meds I definitly had more feelings before.
Weight gain is also a issue for me. You have to be your own keeper in these matters and be more concious in how and what you eat. It’s hard, but doable. It’s hard at first but gets better as body adjusts to less food etc.
Yesterday I got my Qutiapine Sandoz pills and I fellt that those pills were much better than any of the other generic Seroquel pillles I’d ever tried there were only a copay of 10 usdollars fore theme.
Depending upon the regulatory bodies in your country of origin. It is hard be sure of this argument without independent scientific testing of the generics in comparison. I think it mostly holds true for the western world/first world countries.
I’m on 20mg and I’m glued to the couch. But I’ve made a lot of progress. I’m going to lower my dosage in the near future and start exercising again. My goals are to half the zyprexa from 20mg to 10mg and quit vraylar.
I just need to make some progress, I still hear voices and it’s annoying. But luckily they are mild compared to onset.
