The worst pain

I’ve broken my collarbone before and it was extremely painful… but you know what hurts more than that? Tooth pain. I fu-cking hate tooth pain.

All my fault, should of taken better care of my teeth.

Yeah it’s rubbish and so painful. I’m in the same boat. My teeth are problems but I invested in an electric toothbrush and it’s never too late.

I’m dirt bag poor but touch wood I haven’t had problems in a couple of years just doing once a day brushing with a good electric toothbrush. I have heaps of broken teeth. I have fangs and issues never sorted…so…get your pain sorted then try a good electric. If used well they can really help.

Yeah mate it is!

Yeah get it sorted. I had a problem of root absess’s so much pain and I couldn’t afford root canals. As I say. Invest in some tech and it’ll help but first you may be out of pocket to get the pain sorted…I’m sorry. It’s so hard and there’s no easy fixes.

Yeah going to the dentist is expensive. At least here in Canada it is.

I got 6 root canals done this year. Cost me over $11,000.

Yes, it is. But my bonus from work covered about $9000 and my stepmother paid the rest. I don’t owe a cent and my last checkup everything was fine and looked good.

Fu-ck my tooth is hurting right now. I cant fall asleep when im in pain.

I worked as an assistant at a dentist office for a few years.

You wouldn’t believe the amount of people who said tooth pain was the worst pain they had ever experienced.

One guy had been shot and said it was worse than that.

Most the ladies said it was worse than childbirth.

Get that tooth checked as soon as you can.

It won’t get better without intervention.

Is the tooth visibly damaged?

Yeah a big chunk of it has broken off. The nerve is probably exposed.

OKay.

I’m not a dentist, but this is my best advice.

If it’s going to be a couple days before you can get in to see the dentist,

Call the dentist and ask for antibiotics,

Take ibuprofen like clockwork,

Maybe get some of that tooth filling puddy and numbing gel.

I can’t super encourage you to mess with it too much,

But can say people have had success getting the pain under control temporarily with those two items.

It may not be worth aggravating it, so start with the antibiotics and go from there.

Haha,

Thanks.

It’s a good, fun job being a dental assistant.

Hope something works for you and you’re not hurting as much.

Just so you know, you’re going to have to pull that tooth.

You may already know that.

OR get a root canal and crown.

That’ll set you back a couple thousand dollars.

At least it did where I worked in the early 00s.

I pull it and consider an implant later, especially if you have other teeth you suspect need attention.

The worst pain I ever had was the mental/emotional pain at the same time I had schizophrenia. I realize not everyone has that pain.
