Got a toothache. It's driving me crazy

One of my wisdom teeth is bad and it gets really painful sometimes. My dentist doesn’t do extractions and my next appointment isn’t until January anyway. I probably should just find a dentist that does extractions and pay in cash but it’s a pain.

Anyone else suffering from tooth pain or has in the past? One of the most unendurable sensations you can have.

When I tried using the bleaching trays from my dentist, it was so painful I couldn’t stand it. I’m never bleaching again

We have a county dental clinic that does a sliding pay scale depending on income.

I got a filling and 2 office viisits for like $90.

Might be something to check into

Thats really cheap. I don’t know if we have anything like that around here. I’m definitely going to have to look around though…thx for the reply.

Is there a dental college near you? You might want to look into that. There are some pluses and some minuses to dental colleges but I had four wisdom teeth pulled out for next to nothing. It took a long time and hurt but having teeth pulled always hurts.

My main problem is getting mouth sores. Last winter I was diagnosed with Thrush. Right now I don’t have any sores, but I did a month ago.

I’m going to see my dentist tomorrow. He’s affordable. It’s $124.00 for a cleaning, checkup, and x-rays.

Maybe give a couple a call for info. Several hours is a long drive and a lot of money for gas but if a regular dentist is going to charge $300 or $400 for pulling a wisdom tooth, and the dental college will do it for a $100 or a $150, it might be worth it to spend $50 for a tank of gas and go to the dental college.

I had two teeth abscess in the same week before Xmas of 2019. Then I couldn’t find a dentist in my new town who would work on them because of my heart condition and the fact I’m on a LOT of blood thinners. Finally found a specialist dentist who would, but at the same time we locked down in March and they took dentists offline. By then I had a third toothache and a fourth tooth had fallen apart (bad root canal). At least the last one didn’t hurt apart from the wreckage slicing up my tongue.

That was when I made the decision to get all of my teeth pulled this summer. Have falsies now and loving it.

I want to have all my teeth pulled and get falsies. I’m missing two already. It’d probably be too expensive and dr would never go for it.

I have several teeth that have been pulled over the years. I can’t chew on the left side of my mouth due to missing teeth.

I’ve only had rear teeth pulled so far. My front teeth are relatively intact so I’d like to keep them as long as i can.
