I went off the diet for 3 weeks and only gained a pound. Thats pretty good. Now I am working on loosing again as I saw some christmas photos from work and wasn’t so happy with how I looked lmao.

I’m down to 73.6 kg. Just got a new scale that measures weight, bmi, fat, obesity, muscle, visceral fat, protein, bone, bmr, water, lean body mass, and body age.

I can’t seem to be able to share a screen shot, but my body age worked out at 41 when I am 47.

my bmi is 26.1 so a little over and fat overweight too, but my muscle count is high while water and protein is in healthy range.

I haven’t been dieting since November and mince pies are a favourite of mine. Xmas dinner will put on some calories but I am pleased with the measurement overall.

The scale was only £9.99 and it is bluetooth so connects directly to my phone.

After eating fairly normally this last two months when I diet again in the new year my metabolism may have returned to normal to lose the last couple of kgs with less effort after reaching a plateau before.

I didn’t stop exercising and maintained the weight which is anther plus.

You got the exercise bike then! And are using it to great effect, it seems.
It is much better than exercising on a gym bike for privacy?

Agreed. I always get results with exercise.

yes i unknowingly got one with ā– ā– ā– ā–  resistance so I returned it n got one from john lewis…much better.
I haven’t even been using it thorouglhy yet although that starts this week.

Im really glad I got it! hate going gym its awful…dont need to travel and people looking etc…

bmi of 26.1 is not bad at all hope I get there. keep it up and happy festive seasons to you too :slight_smile:

Because of the Christmas season, I haven’t been watching my calories really closely or doing my yoga or piano practice really regularly so, I have put on some weight. I now weigh 160.8 lbs. I gotta get back into it.

So, I’ve been eating pescatarian for the last week to try it out.

I’ve been doing this mainly to feel better, but if I lose weight as a side effect of the diet, that’s ok too.

I’m about 7 days in and it’s the weirdest thing…

I’m never really hungry, but I eat anyway to keep my calorie count up. So I’m kind of force feeding myself…

Today I feel REALLY weird. I felt weird when I woke up. I felt weird at the gym.

Now my stomach is telling me to eat, but I’m not hungry!

Any suggestions?

Edit: I should probably see a RD about this. But my insurance Changes on 1-1-20… and who knows how long from that point that I can get in…

Ohh, I was thinking that with all the protein from the fish your body could have gone into ketosis mode, but you’re consuming a decent amount of carbs so that’s probably not the case.

If you’re not hungry, I’d suggest drinking a glass or two of water to see if the feeling goes away. It could just be you’re thirsty.

When you say you felt weird, weird how? Like extra energized? It’s been about a week since you started pescatarian so it might be your body adjusting to change.

A dietician visit would be good once your insurance changes go into effect.

It’s not an energized feeling. I just can’t figure out how much I’m supposed to be eating… and of what…

I miss chicken… not so much the beef or pork: chicken is just so versatile in the kitchen.

man back up to 124 kg but still eating healthy.

I weighed 305.0lbs this morning and plan to lose 100lbs by January 1st 2021. We’ll see if it happens.

I weighed 162.4 lbs. yesterday. This morning I weighed 157.4 lbs. My BMI is now 23.6 I am very happy. The holidays are over and the temptations are gone. I am back to counting calories and drinking plain, black decaf coffee and also plain water. Also practicing both piano and yoga.

im up to 79kg. my diet restarted yesterday.

next xmas im not gona break my diet cos I break it for too long and too extremely

The first few days on diet are soo difficult. Right now I just feel like making cheese sandwich.
My brain is still habituated to that kind of food.
Might give in. Not sure.
My excuse would be that I should start diet on a Monday not Thursday
