It’s common for people to gain weight on meds. Lots of members on here have attempted to lose weight. Some have been successful. I’m on Olanzapine and it makes me hungry 24/7. I can’t sleep without it though :-1:

I’m medicated and losing weight currently. I eliminated all sugary drinks (replaced with flavored water) and been eating healthier and smaller portions. That’s all there is to it.

I recently lost 20 lbs by watching calories, cutting out sweets and chips and eating reasonable portion sizes. I then went on Maunjaro and lost another 19 lbs. On the Maunjaro I can eat small meals and eliminate snacking and still not feel hungry. I’m on Seroquel and the Invega Sustenna injection and Wellbutrin.

I started zepbound a couple weeks ago. I’m on the introductory dose so I have not lost any weight. I should go up to 5mg in a couple weeks. Will post about progress.

I think GLP-1 medications will help a lot of us lose weight moving forward. The issues lie in the current affordability, availability, and insurance coverage for all.

I’ve lost 7.5kg in 6 months, by eating an 80 percent vegan diet and bicycling to carry my groceries and working out (weights) twice a week
