Our hallucinations haven’t been around as long, suppose that’s why?

god’s real in the mind of those who believe in him.
if everyone had sz and shared the same hallucinations and delusions, there would be no schizophrenics.
I’ve noticed this. My wife asked me if I wanted to go to church last weekend. I said, “no, I’ve got antipsychotics, I’m good thanks.” She was mad at me.

Delusions can help but also they can harm just the same. It’s when psychotic there is lack of control and insight.
Belief in a god when there’s little hope is actually a good coping mechanism.
I don’t really believe in a god anymore or even know how to.
But when I am really struggling I’ll say a little prayer even if I don’t believe in it.
