One of my colleague, the minute the boss left for the day, she got out her chocs and sweets and crisps and sat down watching Eastenders.
You go to work to work
Well exactly. It only pisses me of because I go there and get paid to work not sit on my backside watching EastEnders.
If her activities disturb you from doing your job, file an anonymous complaint. Otherwise just let her be. You don’t need an enemy at the workplace.
It doesn’t disturb be in any other way other than it’s completely unfair she gets paid to do nothing all day.
When I asked my manager why I was getting less hours of work over others. Apparently they have more experience. However she did 17 forms the entire 6 to 7 hours she was there. And I did 60 in 4 hours.
That does seem unfair. Do they not monitor it then. That’s what they should do. How much people do
I feel your pain @anon80629714.
They do monitor. But they have their favourites.
She’s gone for 3 months as she got a new job in another dept. The manager there is super strict. Hopefully they do something if she gets caught.
I’m not the hardest working fellow in my team. I don’t however cause commotions nor lure teammates into dropping the pace or slacking off during work hours. To my sense, everyone should look straight into their monitors and ignore the surroundings as much as possible. In noisy environments I strongly advise for using headphones.
@Andrey maybe I should just try learn to ignore. I’m also not the hardest working. I know people who do 80-100 forms. Even if she did 17 that would have been fine had she not sat there taking the piss watching EastEnders. But it will go back to bite her someday not everyone will accept that behaviour.
