The taurine and caffeine supplement does not give me the energy that an energy drink gives me

I take a supplement that, among other things, has taurine and caffeine. The strange thing is that when I take an energy drink, called “speed”, the effect is different.
The thing is that the drink raises my spirits much faster and stronger than the pill.

Does anyone know what could be the cause of this?

If I had to guess I’d say there’s probably a lot more caffeine in the drink than there is in the supplement but I’d also check the ingredient list. I drink a lot of “reign” and in addition to 300 mg’s of caffeine it also has a lot of the amino acids you find in pre-workouts.

Edit: also liquid caffeine probably enters the blood stream quicker.

The supplement contains, in addition to caffeine and taurine, tyrosine and green tea, and yet it is less effective than the “speed” drink, which has caffeine, taurine, and a little vitamin B6.
Maybe it’s because of what you said about liquid caffeine.

Energy drinks work way better than coffee for me. I barely notice coffee on my antipsychotic. I don’t get caffeine any other ways.
